Great States Seven Blade/Bent Grass Reel Mower Model 705-16
The benefits
of a scissors-like reel mower cut are perhaps nowhere so evident as in the
bent grass lawn. The bent grasses, such as Bermuda, centipede and zoysia,
are low-growing, fine-bladed grasses that are difficult for rotary mowers
to cut. Because the bent grasses are usually cut to a lower height,
scalping is a problem with the wide-sweeping rotary mowers. Reel mowers
give the manicured cut that best shows off these fine grasses. The rear
roller helps to prevent scalping because it keeps the blades above
irregularities in the lawn.
The Great States Seven Blade reel mower was specifically designed for
mowing low-growing, creeping grasses such as Bermuda grass, centipede and
zoysia.
Seven blades provide an even, manicured cut for the fine-bladed,
low-growing bent grasses. The 10" durable composite wheels with radial
tread tires roll easily across the lawn. Mowing height adjusts in one half
inch increments from ½" to
2¼" by adjusting the roller and the wheel height.
Assembly includes attaching painted handle with flared-type design and cushioned
handle grips.
