The ProMow Premium Series gang reel mowers are top-of-the-line among ground-driven gang reel mowers. The heavy-weight 21 inch reels will hug the ground better, cut more evenly and last longer than smaller, lighter weight gang reel mowers. Six tempered steel blades and a mowing height ranging from about 1/2 to 3 inches assures a quality cut on any grass type.

Gang reel mowers are the most efficient way to mow a large lawn. They make the most of your time and fuel use - top mowing width is eleven feet and four inches!

Gang reel mowers cut more evenly than rotary mowers - that is why they are used on golf courses and in parks. These are finish-cut lawn mowers, made for cutting carefully manicured lawns. They are not made to cut weeds or tall grass (about four inches is the maximum pre-mowing height). If the grass gets taller, it cannot be get caught between the fixed blade at the bottom and the reel blades - it just gets pushed to the ground. Mowing twice in alternate directions will remedy the situation fairly well.

Reel mowers do not rip the grass like rotary mowers do. The reel cut is a scissors cut. Customers often comment that their lawn is greener and healthier than ever - just weeks after switching to a reel mower.

ProMow's Premium Series Gang Reel Mowers are made to float smoothly over rolling terrain. They pull easily behind a small tractor or ATV - you can even recycle an old riding lawn mower with a worn deck! If it has at least 12 H.P. and it can drive speeds of 2.5 to 4 miles per hour, it can pull a five reel gang mower! Seven reel mower requires 15-16 H.P.
